Sharlife is a new
Communion Wafer making project
working in partnership with the Kilnerton Centre in Pretoria, a Mission
and Heritage Site of the Methodist
Church of Southern Africa.
The aims of
the project are:
empowerment and skills development.
and networking through service into
the wider community.
Income generation to
help sustain mission and development.
The first baking iron was imported from
the Netherlands and the project has
since expanded to include a total of
four baking irons. There are three full
time employees employed by the project. Thus the
project has enabled the two families to
receive a sustainable income.
